Please note that the official 0.94 release is not compatible with CHX files. PicoDrive 3DS compatibility table can be found on this page. Note that CD games run a little slower (you should enable 1-2 frameskips) on an Old 3DS, but it runs very well on a New 3DS. You can quit the emulator to your homebrew launcher/your CFW's home screen in the game menu. It can play Master System, Mega Drive games and Sega CD games, and 32X games. This emulator uses the same user interface as VirtuaNES for 3DS, TemperPCE for 3DS and Snes9x for 3DS. These are just my samples, other tools and/or methods might work for you but this seems to be the only formats currently supported by both cores. This is a port of notaz's PicoDrive emulator to the Old 3DS.Īlthough PicoDrive is already highly optimized for ARM processors, if ported as is, it still doesn't run full speed for all Mega Drive games on the Old 3DS/2DS, as it's evident in the RetroArch's version. cue sheet here:Īnd my favorite, if im not running out of storage or the game matters to me is a single bin/cue format. If you really want to save some disk space OGG is another option but only Genesis GX Plus supports it. heres the cue sheet for WAVE format files. convert the mp3 to WAV using any audio conversion tool. Sadly MP3 files are not supported in SGX/Picodrive so wav/bin is a safer option. the 1st problem you had was that this cd-image does not have cue sheet at all, so that was probably when bad things happened, like conversion and such.Īnyways this should be the cue if you want it MP3 format:
